The ENERGIRON® technology is designed to operate with a large range of commercially available DR- grade-iron ores, both in pellet and lump ore form.
Thanks to the high Pressure, ENERGIRON® technology has the advantage of feeding larger flowrates for a given volume flowrate, moreover gas velocity trough the reactor is lower than lower operating pressure, therefore smaller pellets are acceptable, material losses are minimized, and productivity is enhanced
ENERGIRON® keep an active research and development organization, which has developed extensive knowledge on the evaluation and behavior of iron ores for the direct reduction process. This evaluation can be performed at different levels, depending on the specific information requirements for each particular ore.
